Secrets of Article Writing - 5 Steps to Creating a Powerful Article

If you have only dabbled in writing articles in the past, then now is the time to give it a serious go. Because I have found writing articles and submitting them online to be the most powerful way of building my list and generating a consistent and profitable income.

Consistently creating articles can seem a daunting undertaking. I certainly did not enjoy it when I first started writing but now, because I know how powerful article writing is, I tend to write a minimum of 10 articles every single day and as a result my subscriber base continues to grow in size daily.

Have you ever heard the phrase 'the money is in the list'! Well it is true and it is very important that you begin to build your list so that you can develop a relationship with it and expose it to your expertise and information.

Before I begin I should define 'powerful article'. A powerful article is one that attracts readers who click on to your bio at the end of the article and visits your website. The more visitors to your website the more that will subscribe and purchase from you.

So How Do You Create A Powerful Article:

1) Ensure The Article Title Tightly Fits Your Niche

It is very important that your chosen title matches your website and your niche. If the subject of your niche is: designer leather handbags then there is no point in creating articles that discuss leather suitcases. Ensure the subject of each of your articles tightly matches the subject of your website.

2) Use numerical lists in your article

Articles that contain numerical lists are very popular with readers and are effortless to read. This particular format is also simpler for you to write as you just list the benefits, steps, reasons or causes.

3) Answer a burning question

Use your article to answer a burning question often asked by readers in your niche. This will ensure that the subject matter is of interest to them and will provide very valuable information.

4) Focus your initial writing efforts on the body of your article. The body represents the meat of the writing and is much easier to complete especially if you are creating numerical points. As you begin to list the salient points of your subject ensure that you go into as much detail as you can to get your points over. Three or four sentences for each point should do the trick.

5) Finally complete the article by inserting an introduction and conclusion. The introduction need only be an opening paragraph of four or five sentences detailing what it is you intend to uncover in the article. Likewise the conclusion should be a summary of what you have said already said.
